What you’ll do:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of accounting tasks, including data entry, payments, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to grow their accounting career.

• Assisting in Monthly preparation of sales invoices (and ad-hoc, as per business needs) and reconciliation with invoicing schedule.

• Daily review of received payments from customers and updating internal reports of overdue invoices.

• Daily upload of financial documents to external agencies (AR, Expense reports, Bank statements).

• Review of financial transactions in the accounting system (AP, AR, Payroll posting, Expense reports, Bank statements).

• Communication with external agencies regarding financial documentation, data entries and other.

• Preparation of AP and AR financial reports weekly.

• Perform account reconciliations for bank statements on a weekly basis.

• Perform weekly payments (and ad-hoc, as per business needs) in Halcom and other platforms (UK and US market).

• Sending documents to the bank for payments in foreign currencies to non-residents in Serbia.

• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes (Prepayments, Accruals and Review of GLs and Cost centers).

• Opening new fixed assets in the accounting system and sharing information with agencies and internal stakeholders.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Assisting with VAT and other tax obligations.

• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, as needed.

What you’ll need

• 2+ years of previous accounting or finance experience.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other finance tools.

• Knowledge of accounting software (D365 Business Central / Navision, preferable) is nice to have.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
