What you'll do
We are looking for a Dynamics 365 ERP & Business Central Administrator responsible for configuring, maintaining, and continuously improving our Microsoft Dynamics ERP and Business Central environments. This role partners closely with Finance, Operations, and IT to ensure systems are stable, secure, and aligned with business processes.
Configure and maintain Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and Business Central (companies, modules, workflows, posting groups, dimensions, number series, etc.).
Administer environments (production, test, sandbox), including user management, security roles/permissions, and environment refreshes.
Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into system configuration, small customizations, and process changes.
Manage updates, patches, and release waves, including impact assessment, testing, and deployment planning.
Create and maintain reports and dashboards using built‑in reporting, Excel, and Power BI where applicable.
Support integrations between Dynamics/Business Central and other systems (e.g., CRM, payroll, e‑commerce, warehouse, banking).
Troubleshoot issues, analyze root causes, and coordinate fixes with internal teams and external partners.
Maintain system documentation (configurations, data flows, customizations, integrations, and user guides).
Ensure data quality, support data migration activities, and define/monitor data governance rules.
What you'll need
3+ years administering and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365 ERP and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Strong functional knowledge of core ERP processes such as General Ledger, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Fixed Assets, Inventory, and Order‑to‑Cash/Procure‑to‑Pay.
Hands‑on experience with Business Central configuration (pages, fields, posting setup, workflows, approvals, permissions).
Experience managing system updates, testing, and change management in a production ERP environment.
Ability to write clear functional specifications and work effectively with external implementation partners or developers.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues across process, data, and configuration.
Good communication skills, able to work with both technical teams and non‑technical business users.
Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Experience with the Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI) connected to Dynamics/Business Central is a plus.
Familiarity with AL extensions for Business Central or previous experience working with developers on AL‑based customizations is a plus.
Experience with integrations using APIs, web services, or middleware (e.g., Logic Apps, iPaaS tools) is a plus.
Background working with external implementation partners or in an environment with multiple legal entities/countries is a plus.
Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant, Finance/ERP certifications) is a plus.
